The centre of Chamonix is a 5-15 minute drive away, depending on traffic, or a 17-minute bus ride. Alternatively, you can enjoy a pleasant 45-minute walk through the forest and along the L’Arve river to reach central Chamonix. Chamonix offers a wide range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, from famous hole-in-the-wall burger joints to gourmet, Michelin-starred establishments.
